Software Design and Programming services
Sartox® developed a manufacturing/distribution software program called ALCOR® in 1981 for Fortune 500 companies and smaller specialty businesses in the furniture industry. The program has since evolved into a fully integrated management information system that provides users with all of the basic modules from order processing and manufacturing to accounting and financial reporting.

ALCOR® is a fully integrated, native Client Server application. ALCOR makes extensive use of reusable code and object oriented development techniques. The database is Microsoft's latest version of SQL Server.

Accounts Payable: Vendor Invoice entry and payment, with full ledger, costing and project billing interfaces.

Accounts Receivable: Order invoicing, non-inventory debit memos, credit memos, cash receipt and application. Integrated with the Order Processing system, with full ledger interface.

Analytical Services: Provides analysis tracking for inventory (raw materials and finished goods) including pass-fail and analysis statistics.

Inventory Management: Fully integrated with the Order Processing, Manufacturing and Analytical Services subsystems to provide complete processing of inventory from Requirements Planning through the sale of finished goods.

Ledger: Detailed transaction history, allowing reporting with any SQL-based report engine.

Manufacturing: Work In Process from planner orders through final completion of finished goods. Provides material, labor and overhead costing.

Order Processing: Customer order processing from Incoming order through Invoicing. Integrated with Inventory and Manufacturing to monitor availability and facilitate shipping of finished goods from in-stock and work-in-process inventory.

Payroll: Security-controlled processing by location and/or pay group, with complete history of all related transactions, including labor cost data. Allows creation of timecards from data, downloaded from a third-party timeclock system. Parameterized taxes and benefits provide great flexibility and customization.

Project Tracking And Billing System (PTABS): Designed for businesses who sell services, not goods. Fully integrated with the Payroll and AR subsystems to provide cost and billing information.

Sales Analysis: Detailed data for sales analysis from order processing and invoicing.

Warehouse Management: Scanner-driven Production, Receiving (with directed putaway), Shipping and Inventory Count functions. Interfaces to the ALCOR Inventory and Order Processing systems.
